iHeart Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) this thread is so going to be busy on wednesday Edited March 1, 2017 by iHeart
Goalie Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) Probably not that busy. Jurco has Zero points this year. Stafford definitely gets a 3rd maybe more. (A late 3rd from a contender) Edited February 24, 2017 by Goalie
iHeart Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 well I guess not considering that we've had more action this week

Floyd Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 BREAKING NEWS... Matthews has passed Walt Podubny for 3rd most goals by a Maple Leaf rookie...!!!!
Goalie Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 (edited) He's played more games than Laine. Laine was hurt. Matthews hasn't missed a game. But it's irrelevant as the Calder is a popularity contest anyway. Toronto plus American star is more important to the NHL than Winnipeg and a Finnish kid. That American kid with no personality can sell the game to the states. The Finnish kid with personality can't Edited February 26, 2017 by Goalie
rebusrankin Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 When does the NHL realizes that they're never going to sell the sport to large portions of the US? They've been trying since the 70s. Example: Phoenix/Carolina/Miami etc.

There are to many fair weather markets in the NHL and the league is not as healthy as the big wigs would have you believe. rebusrankin 1
Floyd Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 Might be some lean years if the Cdn dollar stays low and the northern teams can't support the Southern states - salary cap could be stable for a while

FrostyWinnipeg Posted February 27, 2017 Report Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) For a UFA no one wanted Budaj was worth something after all. Minn is my pick this year atm but beware Chicago. Edited February 27, 2017 by FrostyWinnipeg kelownabomberfan 1

Floyd Posted February 27, 2017 Report Posted February 27, 2017 That would be the worst if Kane won the cup...
Jimmy Pop Posted February 27, 2017 Report Posted February 27, 2017 I fully expect the Wild to be eliminated in the first round. It's just so Minnesota. ...like the Jets and not making the playoffs. Goalie and Noeller 2
