IC Khari Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) MOS's career as Bomber HC in a nutshell ... Edited July 22, 2016 by IC Khari
Stickem Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 WOW ...are we pathetic.....Can't defend ...can't score...who wants to pay to watch this shite anymore...We have to be some kind of football sadists.....definitely sad.
gcdrought Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 What a disgusting interception and TD. Oh well, it's garbage yardage time. Willy will be in his element and will rack up a bunch of useless yardage. Nicholls can't be any worse than this guy.
Stickem Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 TD....Nichols to Dress....is it a figment of my imagination...garbage time heroics....OR IS IT Matt Nichols the man of the hour.....oh well, I was expecting too much.
IC Khari Posted July 22, 2016 Author Report Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) It's a dream alright, more specifically a nightmare ... they are who we thought they were Edited July 22, 2016 by IC Khari
Blueballz Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 Uuuugly... I almost didn't turn the game back on after half time. Same ol same ol, Messam gets on a roll, BLM carves our secondary...
Mark H. Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 The D was pretty good. They adjusted well to injuries in the secondary and also stopped Messam in the 2nd half B-F-F-C, Tracker, basslicker and 1 other 4

ddanger Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 I lost track of all the injuries after 5 guys......2 offensive linemen and 3 db's....surprised we stayed in the game as long as we did really

Unfortunately I think BLM could have scored at will whenever he needed to, the Stamps were just toying with the Bombers and showed some class by not running up the score on them at home.
bearpants Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 I would argue Matt Nichols' TD drive was not garbage time... a 2 score game with 8 mins left in the CFL is easily attainable... of course, when your offense in generally incapable of any scores that makes it tough.... Also, I was impressed with the Canadians in the secondary after the injuries.... I'd like to see us start Loffler at safety and Morgan or Jones at field corner (I don't remember who was playing there last night)... Mr Dee 1
sweep the leg Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 The worst part of the game for me was the two idiots behind me yelling "OH MY GOD...CTE!!!" every time Dressler got tackled. They were both clearly football nerds, so they might be part of this forum. If it was you, STOP IT! Nash00, IC Khari and Goalie 3

We were down by 8 with 7mins left after that. In the CFL, 16 points down with almost 10 mins left if plenty of time. Our D gave a us a chance to win by hanging tough for most of the 2nd half. It's a credit to Hall for changing on the fly. bearpants 1

basslicker Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 They were terrible in the 1st quarter, but started to get better in the 2nd and after half time and the backups were in and the D played surprisingly well considering.

Isn't it depressing that the "starters" got carved and the raw CDN rookies were the ones flying to the ball making plays?

Cuz they're hungry to play and our starters are just walking around defeated. One thing that caught my eye. Darvin Adams - who is an easy example, because he's probably got the most obvious body language of any player on our team - walked around looking pissed off all game until Nichols came in. Hit Adams with a 10 yard catch. Adams gets pumped up. Because there was some hope. Tracker, ddanger and BigBlueFanatic 3

I think it was Tyron Brackenridge that tweeted during the game about the D just playing like they were just showing up to get paid. Pretty apt observation based on what we have seen thus far. Jones, Loffler, Morgan etc. all had the energy and desire to make plays as opposed to letting the play come to them.

That guy is a problem on this team mark my words. Yeah he might be pissed off, but he's so inconsistent with his own effort it's not even funny.
do or die Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 Agree on Adams, has some talent but not sure about the headspace...... Noeller 1

Tracker Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 From the body language of the players before half-time, they did not expect to win, and I think the whole team has given up. There was a brief flurry of hope when Nichols came in, but by that time, the game was pretty much decided. Three points at the half? Willy has lost the confidence of his team mates and I believe O'Shea is in the same boat.
do or die Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 ....while the fans were voting with their feet (Rum Hut). Bombers should really consider putting a cover over that entire end zone and expanding the RH.
